Sometimes selling your retired equipment is necessary, but sometimes putting it into service at a different facility is the best use of resources. We have developed a one of a kind web based solution that makes this possible. For member hospitals and healthcare professionals, retired equipment is inventoried and uploaded into a shared database that can be accessed by other purchasing managers in your hospital system. Through your facility’s portal account equipment can be redeemed from our inventory and delivered to the requesting facility.
The challenge in moving medical equipment is that it is all different in size and shape. But nearly all of it is sensitive and requires delicate handling. If you are shipping your equipment out of your facility via a motor carrier you are paying a hefty bill for the transportation, not to mention the staffing and materials you’ll need for packaging and coordinating with carriers. Since we are local, one call to us and we will arrive within days with our own trucks and trailers fully equipped to package, palletize, and blanket wrap all of your various items and we won’t charge you a penny! We will even go to every department within your hospital, collect asset tags, and coordinate removal with department leaders.
While removing equipment in a timely manner is paramount, capturing its remaining value is equally important. We are in tune with the global marketplace and we can confidently pay the most for your used equipment. No more waiting for checks to come in the mail, and wondering how small they might be. We pay for all equipment prior to its removal. Never again will member hospitals have sellers’ remorse as our web-based system offers a method to redeem equipment at the wholesale price at which it was sold. For those who prefer, we also have a consignment platform to liquidate the value from retired assets.
What about those big items? X-ray rooms, CT scanners, and MRI’s. We are fully equipped and our knowledgeable staff can remove these items from your facility in a timely and professional manner. We are fully insured and compliant with DNR regulations.
